The 7th TiSSA
Plenum 2009 seeks to enhence the development of an emancipatory agency
perspective for social work education, organization, research and
practice. Based on the challenge of "New culture of welfare" different
kind of contributions are welcome! Presentations for the TiSSA Plenum
should innovatively and critically deal with the question of "the clash
between managerial ideology, public image and professional identity".
Presentations for the TiSSA PreConference will reflect ongoing
dissertation projects in the field of social professions.
All colleagues are cordially invited to send an abstract (1-2 pages) as word- or pdf-file to the TiSSA co-ordinator: hansuwe.otto@uni-bielefeld.de.
Submissions can either represent reflected practical experiences, empirical research or theoretical concerns.
The international scientific committee will validate all incoming
abstracts. Presentations will be limited to max. 20 minutes. Points for
subsequent discussions are welcome.
For all colleagues
intending to give a paper either for the TiSSA Plenum or for the
PreConference of PhD-Network the deadline for the announcement of the
abstract is July, 30th, 2009.
Topic suggestions and draft papers may also be submitted to the
scientific committee for evaluation and guidance with a view to further
elaboration
All participants are invited to send the full paper or revised article to the scientific journal: Social Work & Society - The Online-only journal (publication results from the journal's review process) or the new Social Work & Society News Magazine: SocMag.
